Course pages are listed on the left hand side of the wiki page.
Once you choose the course you will find the assignments listed with resources linked on the page (videos, handouts, activity sheets for students, documents, etc.)
If you link onto a different web page you can use the back arrow to return to the wiki site. If you close the linked web page without using the back button the wiki page will be closed as well.
There is a rubric at the end of each assignment, which will provide you with a much more condensed view of the assignment for planning purposes and to get a better overall picture of the assignment without all the details on the wiki page.
Each course has a primary page that provides the objectives, assignments, and rubrics for assignments. Courses will also have a second page as supplemental materials that can be added to the course on a voluntary basis. We hope that you will share any new ideas or resources that you have so that these pages will continue to grow.
Accessing Materials and Resources
The resources for assignments are linked directly to the website so that you can open it and see the materials/resources on the course page. All resources and materials will also be in a final binder for that course as a 'hard copy'. A copy of CARA's KIT, which is wonderful resource for modifying materials, instruction and the environment will be provided to those teaching 210. While this is not a mandatory assignment, we encourage faculty to refer to this resource, as it is a resource that students could use continuously throughout their career in early childhood. CARA's kit is 20.00 through NAEYC (16.00 if you are a member)...a very affordable and very practical tool.
Using Special Quest Materials
If you have a Special Quest Binder you can access the material by following the title of the "Resource' on the course pages. If you do not have the binder,
